|What should I expect following the procedure?||In the clinical study, the most common side effects of JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC were temporary reactions at the treatment site. Such reactions include tenderness, swelling, firmness, lumps or bumps, bruising, pain, redness, discoloration, and itching. These side effects were usually moderate in severity and did not require treatment. These side effects generally lasted 2 to 4 weeks. Because JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC treatment is non-surgical, you may return to your normal activities 24 hours after treatment.
Within that window, it is also recommended to avoid strenuous exercise and extended exposure to the sun and heat.
